Drain 87 bypass



The gravel road by the airport is going to be used as a bypass for Highway 17 while a new box culvert is being installed over the next couple of weeks. It is a Department of Transportation approved gravel road with 8” of gravel on it.

Walsh County burn ban still in effect



Walsh County has implemented a fire ban on all open burning until further notice. Although there was some much needed rain, it is not enough to lift the burn ban. Hold all burning until conditions improve and the burn ban is lifted. This also includes all backyard fire pits.
