Emily Swanson, daughter of Bart and Sophia Swanson, was chosen as 2016-2017 Valley- Edinburg High School Student of the Year.  This honor is given to one of 16 students that were chosen throughout the year as a student of the quarter. Students are selected on time and effort put into academics, qualities of citizenship and positive contribution to school atmosphere.
